Ann Dixon
I started with the troop in 2002 and have received my Wood Badge. I am also an active member in Girl Guiding UK as a Brownie leader. My first introduction to scouting was from going on a World Scout Moot back in 2000, and I have also been to World Scout Jamborees in Thailand in 2002 and the UK in 2007. I am now the Troop Leader for Chapman since taking over from Mike Beesley in 2009.

I have always been a member of 1st Crowborough Scout Group where I did cubs, scouts and ventures where I gained the highest scouting achievement possible The Queens Scout Award.

I took out my first warrant aged 18 as an assistant leader with Hemens Troop. I took over Chapman troop in 1992 aged 21 and have just stepped down as troop leader and now I have come back as an assistant. I gained my wood badge after numerous training evenings and weekends.

I have just also been awarded a medal of merit for services to scouting also with my 20 years service as a warranted leader.
